It's the time of year when spring turns into summer, and one always hopes for rains as long as possible.  This week we were fortunate to have a couple of large thunderstorms sit on top of us, dumping two and a half inches of rain on one occasion.   Our near-term weather outlook is for a drier pattern, with increasing heat...just what the muscadines like for major growth!  The wildflowers are taking hold, as well.  Black-eyed Susans, Larkspur, and wild roses are the most eye-catching.
